General anesthesia is not necessary usually. It is an option, however, if you would prefer being unconscious while operated on. In this case, the process involves close cooperation with an anesthesiologist.
With our immediate load implants, more than 95% of all implants are still in place after 10 years. Individual prognosis will be determined by individual factors: oral care, general illness, etc.
Please contact our Liaison Manager immediately or the closest dental clinic which is using immediate load implant technology. Mobilization (loosening) is sometimes simply a reaction of the bone to inappropriate loading or overloading.
We guarantee that our implants will constitute a functional and structural connection with the jaw bone (i.e. osseointegration). Otherwise, the warranty agreement is arranged between the dentist and the patients.
Our dental clinic in Budapest offers a lifetime warranty on the one-piece implants inserted into the patient’s mouth. This warranty does not cover complications regarding the tissue around the implants.
The warranty will be reduced or voided:
- If oral hygiene is neglected
- If the patient does not attend a routine dental check-up and professional cleaning at least once a year (receipt required)
- If the dentist’s instructions are not followed
- If restorations are not kept and maintained properly
- In case of accidental damage to the implant
- If substantial gain or loss of weight occurs
- If there is a general illness occurring that has negative effects on the dental condition (for example diabetes, epilepsy, osteoporosis, condition after x-rays or chemotherapy)
- In any case when a non-qualified person makes any change to the implant work. (Not all dentists perform implantological procedures or are, for that matter, familiar with implantological technologies and processes. Only those who can be expected to offer authoritative counselling and help are those who have been trained in, and are authorized to perform implant treatment based on the technique of basal osseointegration).
